Allergy Management Program

Background

Allergies are the sixth leading cause of chronic disease in the United States, costing the health care system $18 billion annually. More than 50 million Americans suffer from allergic diseases.

Allergies are basically an overreaction of the body and immune system to various substances known as allergens, regardless if the allergen is harmful for the person or not.

In many cases, a toxic burden on the body and liver- the major organ of detoxification- can lead to states of internal inflammation. When a person is chronically inflamed, they can become overtly sensitive to substances that they normally would not be sensitive to. That is why some people can either acquire, or even stop having allergies later in life.

Common symptoms include but are not limited to:

Runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezing, coughing, asthma attacks, fullness in the ears, skin rashes and other skin disorders, acne, headaches and migraines, chronic fatigue, arthritis. The list goes on and on?

Recent research has even correlated food allergies with certain serious neurological disorders such as Parksinsons Disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimers, and ADD/ADHD.

In addition, inflammation has been recently investigated to be the major underlying cause of a wide variety of degenerative diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and even cancer, to name but a few.

Program

At All in Good Health, the doctors offer a comprehensive Three-Step Allergy Management Program, to get to the root of the allergy symptoms. By doing so, patients have reported obtaining permanent relief by using gentle and non-invasive therapies, without the ue of shots or drugs.

  • Detoxification
The first part of the program involves a body detoxification protocol. For this phase of the program, the detoxification footbath is used in conjunction with certain vitamins and herbs that have been proven effective for stimulating liver function. The purpose of this stage is to cleanse the body from the inside-out, in order to decrease the overall toxic load on the liver.
  • Laser Acupuncture
The second part of the program involves the use of a cold laser to stimulate various acupuncture points on the face and ears. After a series of functional neurological tests to determine which common allergens are offending to the patient, the cold laser is used to balance the patient's immune system to the substance.
  • Elimination Diet
The final stage of the treatment involves what is known as the Elimination Diet. This entails removing the most common allergens from the patient?s diet for a minimum of three weeks. At the end of the three weeks, the common allergens are than slowly reintroduced into the diet. The purpose of this is two-fold:
    1. Decrease the overall inflammatory state triggered by the food allergens, thus allowing the body a chance to heal
    2. Find out exactly which foods a person is allergic to
