Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most utilized medical practices in the world. It is based on 2000+ years of observation that the stimulation of specific points (acupoints) on the surface of the skin would positively benefit the body?s overall health, including that of the internal organs.
Modern science is now confirming the positive benefits that acupuncture has on a wide variety of illnesses.
The first image that comes to mind when most people think of acupuncture is needles. Although traditionally the needle was a commonly used method to stimulate acupoints, recent research has shown various other methods to be just as, if not more effective in stimulating these points, than the traditional needle.
At All in Good Health, we realize that some people may not be comfortable with needle acupuncture, so in addition to this traditional approach, we offer cold laser, electrical, manual pressure, massage, and teishin approaches to acupuncture therapy. Regardless of what technique is used, the doctors at All in Good Health always strive to make our patients as comfortable as possible during their journey to optimal health.
